Green Valley School, Mankachar is an English Medium co-

educational school under the management of a school Management

Committee. The decision of the Managing Committee in any matter

of the school is final.

🏛️THE AIM OF THE INSTITUTION🏛️

The aim of the institution is to impart sound education and

to facilitate their all round development by forming in them

habits of virtue, discipline and self efficiency to train them to

become dutiful children of their parents and useful citizens of

their motherland, India.

Special attention is given to ensure a high-standard of morality

and discipline in the school, Guardians are requested to collaborate

in this with the authorities of the school by urging the regular

attendance, performance of home tasks and punctuality of their

wards. Pupils of irregular attendance, habitual idleness,

disobedience, bad conduct or sickness liable to be injurious to

other children justify dismissal.

EXAMINATION

1 Besides the two Unit Test from class I to X, There are two

examinations in a year, Half-Yearly and the Annual Examination

2. Absence from on examination or Unit Test without sufficient reason

is a serious breach of discipline and the offender will be considered

as having failed. The Unit Tests, Half-yearly and the annual

examination will be taken into account at the time of Promotion

3 No retest or re-examination will be taken in case of absence in any

unit Test / Examination.

4. The result of the defaulters will be withheld.

FEES

1 The school fees cover twelve calender months and may be paid

monthly or in advance.

2. No reduction is made for holidays or broken periods.

3 Pupils are liable to be charged full fees as long as their names are

officially on the rolls

4. Parents are requested to keep the issued money receipts with

them as these may be needed.

5. Pupils whose fees are long overdue may be barred from sitting

for any examination and are liable to have their names struck

off the rolls

6. New pupils will be charged from the 1st month onwards.

7. Fees for the vacation should be paid along with the fees of the

preceding month.

8. All fees must be paid by the 15th of the month for which they are

due. A late fine of Rs. 2.00 per month will levied on fee defaulters

GENERAL RULES

1. Staying away from class without a valid reason is not permitted.

If a student has to go home during the school hours, there must

be a written application from his / her guardian stating the

reason, which must be serious one, in all such cases, the principal's

permission is required. Leaving the School without permission is

a very serious breach of discipline.

2. The reason for leave or absence must be entered by the guardian

in the Leave Absence Record of the calendar. Reasons of a private

nature may be submitted by letter. Forging signatures is considered

a serious fault and any pupil found doing so is liable to be

punished accordingly.

3. Any one using unfair means in examination will be debarred

from further examination.

4 Shouting, whistling and running about are not allowed in the

school building

5. Pupils are responsible for the safe custody of their books, umbrellas

and other personal belongings. Each article should be marked all

particulars of the student.

6. Gold or other precious ornaments or expensive articles should not

be sent with the children to the school. The school takes no

responsibility if they are lost or damaged

7. Pupils should bring to the school their text books only. Comics,

periodicals, newspaper, camera, mobile phone, walkman etc. of

objectionable

disracting nature shall not be brought into

the school premises. If found they will be confiscated.

8 No student is allowed to leave the school premises during the

school hour or recess without the permission of the Principal.

9. Any damage caused to the school properly should be made good

by the pupil concerned. The decision of the principal regarding

the compensation to be paid shall be final.

10. Parents and guardians are not allowed to see their children during

school hours.

11. Parents and guardians

are

requested to cooperate with the school

authorities in all matters concerning the education of their

children.

12. Parents are to look into the school diary every evening and see to

it that the lessons and home works assigned for the next day are

done in time. Remarks made in the diary by the Principal or

Teachers should be seen and signed regularly.

13. Parents, please urge your words to be regular and punctual in all

their classes and insist on NEATNESS in their dress, text-books,

exercise books and PERSONAL APPEARANCE

14. Parents are always welcome to interview the principal to discuss

about the progress of their children. Teachers may be consulted

regarding the progress of their children during the free periods of

the teachers or after the class hour, making

appointment

through the Principal.

15. No school business will be transacted on holidays and during

vacations

16. All communications should be addressed to the Principal with all

particulars of the concerned pupil.

17. Smoking, chewing betel nuts and pan in the school is prohibited

for students. Teachers should refrain from doing so during school

hour
