Where is mankachar...?
Today we are here in mankachar a remote village of South salmara Mankachar district of Assam India its about 250 km away from the capital (dispur) of the state (Assam) and its about 19 km from the district headquarters (Hatshingimari). Mankachar is surrounded by a river called kalo river... Which came from meghalaya and ends in Bangladesh. On the bank of kalo river there are too many tourists places but the famous one among them is Mirjulah and if you are planning to visit you must add this place to your list... So the mankachar is surrounded by 1 international Border and anothe State border and another side by the mighty Brahmaputra.. in the East you will get The state boundry with meghalaya, in the West you will get the international border with Bangladesh. On the north you will get the mighty Brahmaputra. On the south side you will find the kalo river.
Is life Easy near Indo-bangla border...?
Yes, life is easy near the International border The border is protected by Bsf jawans ( Border security forces). Not only that the local people of india can go near the no man land for cultivation in some places the local use international border road as there local road to get from one place to another' get help from the bsf in emergency cases such as natural desister like flood cyclone and may more the Bsf along with the Firefighters are always there to help the local people. So the relationship between the armed forces and the local people is very good.
What did the local people do for living...?
The majority of the local people depend upon on Business but also a large portion of the people do Agriculture for there survival the living standards of mankachar is avarage and the roads of mankachar are also good.
Dose it have any life risk in India Bangladesh border ....?
No, there is no life risk because Bangladesh is a friendly country with India. It's totally safe in Mankachar. And the majority of the people of the nearby border is Banglai speaking muslim.
Is the muslims in India safe near Indian Bangladesh border ....?
Yes, they are very safe because they are the part of the world's largest Democracy they have the right to live freely and live as good life as they want...

As I have mentioned above that, India is the largest democracy in the world and the constitution give the right to the minorities to pray There Relegion peaceful not only muslim but also Christan ,Jews , Sikh, Jain, every one is allowed to follow there relegion And here in mankachar there are to historic places one is Mirjulah mosque and the another is Kamakhya temple. It's about 200m away from each other but there is not even a single report of violation is reported in the last 20 years.
Did any war occurred between India and Bangladesh....?
Yes, it occurred only once in 2001 but it only last for 1 day after that peace talk are been made between the two countries...

Yes, there is many educational institutions near the Indian Bangladesh border, institute like Mankachar college , green valley school and many more..
